Scope:

This standard applies to identify electrical equipment (hereinafter referred to as equipment) Terminal various ways and developed with an alpha-numeric system identification of equipment terminals and general clauses of a particular wire line ends.

This standard applies to devices (such as resistors, fuses, relays, contactors, transformers, rotating electrical machines, and so on) and the device terminal identification of combination, also applies to the recognition of a particular wire line ends.

If necessary, the detailed application of these general principles for certain products and the necessary supporting identification methods are given in the relevant standards.

Reference standards:

GB 4,728 electrical diagrams use graphical symbols
GB5465 graphical symbols for electrical apparatus

Recognition method:

Can use one or more of the following methods to identify the device terminals and the specific wire ends.

3.1 products using the marking system to determine and identify the device terminals or specific actual or relative position of the wire ends.
3.2 related product tag system to determine and identify the device terminals, and color coded for a specific wire ends.
3.3 the use of graphic symbols laid down in GB5465. If the use of an auxiliary symbol, should be consistent with the graphic in GB4728.
3.4 using the criteria set out in the 5th chapter of the alpha-numeric symbols.

Application:

Colors, graphics, symbols, or alpha-numeric symbols should be marked in the appropriate line ends or close to it.

When using two or more identification method, and when confusion, this relationship between two identification methods must be described in the relevant documents.
