This highly successful product was introduced to offer a simple and effective method of clamping where it is necessary to anchor pipes firmly whilist at the same time allowing expansion and contraction due to temperature and pressure fluctuations.

Crimp wire terminals provide protection and uniform spacing of pipe lines. They absorb shock, noise and vibration caused by fluid velocity and turbulence in pipes, high air velocity ducts, drumming of duct wall etc. which would otherwise be transmitted through the clamp to the surrounding structure or building.

S/NG/CB crimp wire terminals are identical to S/CB crimp wire terminals with the added benefit of a molybdenum disulphide impregnated nylon bush to provide a low friction bore for the accommodation of additional longitudinal movement. They are suitable for sea water and oily applications at a maximum working temperature of 100ºC. Typical examples are long pipe carrying runs subject to sudden temperature fluctuations and 'U' bolt hanger installations etc.
