Valley T-Connectors are the most comprehensive line of T-Connectors for today’s vehicles. Easy plug-in T-Connectors take the guess work out of tow vehicle wiring by plugging easily into the vehicle’s factory wiring harness.

2-Way Wiring Systems
Nearly all trailers and some tow vehicles are manufactured with a 2-way lighting system for the tail light, turn signal and brake light functions. These 2-way systems utilize the same wire and bulb to illuminate both the brake light and turn signal. 2-Way systems can be identified by the use of a single bulb on each side of the vehicle to provide both brake & turn signal illumination. 2-Way systems will generally have red turn signal/brake light lenses.

3-Way Wiring Systems
Many of today’s vehicles are manufactured with a 3-way lighting system. 3-way systems utilize separate wires to provide power to the brake and turn signal bulbs. 3-way systems can be identified by twin bulbs on each side of the vehicle, one for the brake lights, and a separate bulb for the turn signals. 3-way systems generally utilize amber (yellow) turn signal lenses.

When is a Tail Light Converter Required?
A tail light converter is a device that will accept the 3-way electrical signal from the tow vehicle and interpret or “convert” the signal to one that the 2-way system of a trailer can understand without damaging the electrical system of the tow vehicle or trailer. If your tow vehicle has a 3-way lighting system and you are towing a trailer with a 2-way system, a converter is required.
