The Deutsch Mini-Terminal Block series of quick-disconnect connectors is designed for a solid positive and reliable termination. These devices are commonly found in engine compartments or in spaces where consistent performance is required. Each connector houses the male and female terminals, the quantity and type of which is selected at the time of purchase. Connecting the two together simply requires you to pay a little attention to the orientation and internal pin configuration of the connector halves.
1
Examine the ends of each connector half. Make note of the pin and securing clip orientation inside and on top of the connectors.
2
Orient the molded guide slots on the connector halves to one another. Carefully insert the pin (male) half of the connector into the receiving (female) half.
3
Keep each connector level to one another to avoid stressing the internal connectors. Push the two halves together firmly yet gently, until the securing latch engages. Double-check to ensure that the two halves meet completely to guard against moisture and contamination entry.
